Immediately after receiving a laser genesis treatment the surface of the skin will appear flushed with a pinkish tone immediately following treatment. The skin will revert to its normal state within a few hours.

After a laser genesis treatment you can apply makeup as soon as you’d like.

You will begin to see noticeable results within 3 to 4 weeks as the new collagen and skin cells created by the treatment rise to the surface. The best results will typically appear after three to six treatments.

After a laser genesis treatment there is no downtime and you can return to your normal daily activities immediately. It is recommended to avoid any heat for 24-48 hours post treatment such as hot showers, hot tubs, saunas or strenuous exercise to prevent risk of irritation to the area. Direct sunlight should be avoided for 24-48 hours and the use of sunscreen is recommended on areas that may be exposed.

A laser genesis treatment can be done alone or in combination with other cosmetic procedures such as laser acne, laser rejuvenation, microdermabrasion and photorejuvenation.

A laser genesis treatment can be performed biweekly, however, treatment frequency will depend on your skin concerns. This should be discussed with the specialist performing your treatment.
